IGL also has a couple of new "surprises" for us in the month of December. First off, there has been a few changes in the rules. The cost of challenging the champion clan now rises to $25,000. On a brighter note, there is now a "GrandScale" Option which means matches can have up to 14 on 14 in some instances! Thats a great thing for clans that have more than 10 people in their roster.
There are also 2 special events planned for December. There is a Two-Man Soldier competition here on the 13th, and an elimination tournament called "Armageddon" scheduled for the 20th. We've already been reserved a spot for both events, and will start preparations soon. And lets not forget our usual scheduled matches for December! And I will also try to schedule in a few scrimmage versus other clans to help us prepare for our big events. It should be a fun month indeed.
Read the news on the IGL
site for more details about the events of December.
Town4 is a map I've been playing around with lately. Its a nice change from the 2Forts model -- it is divided into 3 teams... bad guys, evil guys and the cops. Pure chaotic fun! We'll be playing this during our practice a bit to build up our one-on-one skills.
Speaking of one-on-one skills, we are also going to adapt Rocket (Clan) Arena for our public server and practice use. We might even get a few chances to play with DV -- which really ought to make us improve our one-on-one skills in a hurry. An important part of being a good TF clan is to keep our DM skills sharp... and we will be doing that this month!
