We've got quite a few guys from the DFW area.
With these new members, our roster is at sixteen excellent players. This is our targeted roster size, and we are not accepting new members until further notice.
Just in case you didn't already know, Antonin and DV keeps detailed
frag logs for everyone that plays on their server. Check it out at
the DV Frag Logs.
We still have a few that haven't sent in their notification for the Null match. Please fill out the attendance sheet (at the restricted area) as soon as possible.
Yes, we will be closing off clan activities for the turkey week. We will have the usual practice next Saturday (November 22nd) but will not resume until Tuesday, December 2nd. That Tuesday session will be mandatory, not optional since we will probably have a match on Thursday, December 4th.
In case that isn't listed too clearly, he's a breakdown for the next
couple of weeks...:
Nov 23 to Dec 1 - Holiday.... no scheduled activities.
Dec 2 - Tuesday - Mandatory Meeting 8:00p CST.
Dec 4 - Thursday - IGL Match (TBA)
Snare is back. : )
I know I will be rooting for these guys... atleast until we meet again. : )
With this match, KoQ moves to 2-0 in IGL play
with $8000 in league money. As always, check out the news section
of the IGL for the results of the other Thursday night matches.
We are closing off the acceptance of new applications at this time. Our roster is near the perfect size.
This action does NOT have any effect on our currently queued applicants we are working with. We very much hope to see Cadrys, Dante, Gabriel, Lazarus, and Mauler at our Saturday practice session. A word of advice... eat breakfast before coming into the session!
Hehe, sorry... I couldn't resist. Snare is still having some computer problems, but he will be with us again soon. (Don't worry Offense, your Captain will be back!) We hope the "computer gods" smile upon you this weekend.
New screenshots have been added concerning our lastest IGL match and Tuesday night's session.
Oh, post a message on the board while you are there... I think it misses you. :)

Kill the Commissioner, II
This is a fun event which the IGL is hosting this Sunday night. Each clan may send 2 representatives to the contest. Simply put, the Commission (Helmut) will be the target of a hunt conducted by all the other players. Consider it a "catch the greased pig" contest. :) For every successful frag against the comish, that player's clan receives $1000 in league money. You can see the potential of raising money very quickly...
Wish Pilate and Leiodes luck, as they will be our representative for the contest. Spectators are also welcomed, if you would like the cheer these guys on!
The match will be one thiry minute match, played on the flibtech map... server TBA. With 15 clans in the league, it is possible that 30 people will be hunting down the Commisioner. Again, visit the IGL headquarters for further details.
TFS has released some statistics about the popularity of the different mods played in QuakeWorld. The results shouldn't surprise you.
I have given up on the siteflow counter... we're trying out a different one.
Try to get a few games of practice on the DV Public server to warm-up before the match.
Future matches will be posted each Sunday night at the IGL headquarters... as soon as we have our next determined match, another attendance inquiry will be posted.
Lets get ready to rumble... :-)
Answer the following: Can you play in this Thursday night's match? Yes -- No -- Maybe. (Click on one only) If you have any questions or comments (esp. if your answer is a maybe), be sure to send that in too. The answer should be written in the subject part of the email.
This will probably be moved to the restricted area... I just wanted everyone to quickly find this as time is running out until the match!
Well, I'm putting this on hold. Just about everyone has gone over the rules and procedures. At tonights meeting, we will have a question and answer session in irc and the log will be saved. This will be part of the packet, so it'll be a while until I release it for the clan. My apologies.
It seems like our counter is working once again!
About half of the clan has sent in the procedural email... get those in asap (see 11-1-97).
Tuesday Night Meeting
No, I am not changing our optional night, but I want to request that as many people as possible attend this one. We need to finalize our gameplan -- so it is imperative that team captains attend. We may not even scrimmage -- perhaps only chatting in irc... so try to make it if you can. 8:00p CST as usual...
